Our day-trip to Kyoto. Proof that one should never try and navigate on foot using a bus route map. It was great fun, though, and a day just wasn't long enough. I get the feeling I'll be going back to Kyoto again soon!

Homeless in Kyoto
We noticed, in Tokyo too, that the homeless people in Japan don't live in cardboard boxes. They even leave their shoes outside of these tiny 'huts'. Homelessness in Japan is, I believe, a growing concern, and no-one's quite sure what the solution is. |
