Around 28 ALTs from Fukui Prefecture were involved in Fukui Shogyo's (Fukushou's) Winter Seminar. All the students involved in the seminar were on Fukushou's International Business Course. I know for a fact all the ALTs had a wonderful time, and I got the inkling that all the students did, too! There was a fantastic atmosphere, and a great deal of fun and laughter (as well as hard work!).
The main task during the seminar was to give a presentation to all the students and ALTs present on the following theme:
"It is the year 3016. There are only ten super countries left. People of the world live in peace and there are no wars. However, people have destroyed the planet. It is impossible to live there anymore. Now people have to move to other planets. In this activity, you will make a presentation of the planet your country is creating."
The 10 super countries (evolved from the present day countries) are: Olde Americanada, New Americanada, The Union, La Fedaracion Latina, The UK, The European Union, Africa, United Middle East, Australasia, New Asian Nation.
Most of the photos on this page will probably only be interesting to the ALTs who took part in the seminar. I also took loads of photos, and have only put some of them up here (most of them are of my group, although I have made sure that at least one photo of every group is here!).
