Most people have gone away for Christmas, leaving Fukui virtually devoid of gaijin.  Well, that's what it feels like, at least.  A small group of us got together for a final meal out before the last of them disappear.  It was a nice meal at an Italian restaurant, and was followed by a trip to Mister Donut.
