It was an absolutely beautiful, and hot, day when we finally stirred on the Sunday.  Deciding it was a great day to explore, we headed off to a little station just outside of Okayama city to hire bikes and follow a bike trail.

 

After following the map the wrong way round for about three hours, Amber suffered the misfortune of a ripped tyre.  It put our Japanese to the test again...but we passed...eventually!  It was all a bit of an adventure, anyway.  But Amber's bike had good timing!  Just as we found our way back (and NOT to the end of the bike trail....somehow we doubled back on ourselves), there was an absolute cloud-burst!

 

The ride itself was stunning, however, and was very much enjoyed!  

 

We also got our fortunes (for the year?).  Apparently, I must look take care of myself after childbirth (although Brandon's apparently will be easy), and  "illness: It's not a slight illness.  Trust in God.", amongst other things.  Despite this, my fortune is "very good".
