Ok I admit it, I'm not exactly a romantic.  Practical, yes.  Romantic, no.  You won't find me sobbing over a chick-flick or anything like that.  But you know, sometimes you have a day you just want to hold on to forever.  Well, this was one of those days.

 

I'm not great with words.  I could probably pretty well describe the day to you, but...well...it wouldn't really convey the atmosphere, the feeling.  You'll just have to make do with some photos instead.

 

After our Japanese lesson in the morning, Tom and I went to Eiheiji to admire the temple in the snow, then drove up to Mikuni to watch the sunset over the aptly-named "Sunset Beach".  In the evening we went out for dinner for Flick and Neil's birthdays.  I only have photos of Eiheiji and Mikuni, though.  Enjoy.
