On a beautiful, sunny day in late March, just as the plum blossoms were coming to an end, Tom and I cycled round three of the five lakes of Mikata. We caught the train to Mikata station where we hired pink bicycles, and took our time, taking plenty of photos as we went. It was a really good day out, and we enjoyed a picnic by the side of the first lake. It's so peaceful there, I strongly recommend everyone here to try it!
