Today was White Day. Quite literally.
14th March - exactly a month after Valentine's Day - is an important date on the Japanese calendar. For women. Valentine's Day in Japan calls for women to give chocolate to men. White Day is for the men who received chocolate to reciprocate, and give sweets to the girlies. (On both days our staffroom flows with candy).
All that, I was expecting. This I wasn't: Snow. A lot of snow. In the middle of March. In fact, we had two solid days of snow...
... to add insult to injury, it was...yup, you guessed it...Monday. (Yet another damn Monday struggling to work in the snow.)
