(and 09 May 2004)

One sunny Saturday, I suddenly got inspired, rushed out and bought some terracotta pots and some plants.  I'd been meaning to do something to the 'balcony' for quite some time, but never had the opportunity.  The day before I'd taken another car-load of junk to the dump, and it's almost free of rubbish out there now.  Anyway, I spent the Saturday potting and tending, and the garden's looking pretty good now!

When Tom got in from work, I sheepishly showed him what I'd done, and he got just as enthusiastic as me.  So much so, in fact, that we spent all of the Sunday touring garden centres and buying some more plants, and potting them!  Domesticated, or what?!

A big "thank you" to Tom's mum for buying us a geranium to hang outside, and an orchid to light up the living room.
