Fukui Final Fling

Now it's time to say goodbye to some of the friends we've made over the last 12 months, as they prepare to return to their home countries. It seems so strange to think that we came to Japan from all over the world. We were thrown together, and now it's time for us to part. To go back to our own part of the globe. How long before we see each other again? And in what circumstances will that be?

For those of us who are re-contracting, we still have a year or two ahead of us in Japan . How will that time be different now some of our number our leaving? For those returning home, how strange will it be to go back to a life once so familiar? How much have we all changed and grown over the last year?

This was our final fling: A meal at Tengu, then on to the Big Echo for karaoke. Dry your eyes, put the whiskey back on the shelf, and take a gander at these photos!
