Ah
yes! Camping. Japanese style.
Forget
the tent. Leave the ground sheet behind. You definitely don't need
your sleeping bag, or the kerosene stove.
Think:
Beautiful scenery up in the mountains in a remote area beyond Izumi, log cabins
(with toilet, shower and kitchen), a purpose built BBQ - lit for you. The
only way we were "roughing it" was the fact we had no mobile phone
signal!
HUGE
thanks to Kristi for organising it, and to Erin & co. for buying lots and
lots (and lots and lots) of food! ;)

Brandon, looking very happy at our log cabin:
complete with futons, table, benches..etc..etc
apologies for the awful, blurred photo...my
excuse? er...
I'd been driving for an hour and a half in thick fog...? |

Hans shows just how scary gaijin can be
-
proving the Japanese were right all along and

Brave Brandon doesn't seem the least bit phased by Hans'

Laura glamorously demonstrates how

THE MEGA BUG
For people who know those cans of
Grape Fanta...well, you can see just how
big the Mega Bug was! |

The morning after.
Considerably fewer bugs.
