We met at the FIA, got dressed up in our yukata (with the help of Saori), and headed over to the garden nearby for tea ceremony and an aesthetic stroll! It was a beautiful, hot, sunny day - perfect for our outing. HUGE "thanks" to Brandon for organising us, and another HUGE "thanks" to Saori for helping us get dressed!
Tea ceremony is performed at the Yokokan garden every Saturday, Sunday and national holiday between 10am and 4pm. It costs 500 yen for tea ceremony, and you have to pay around 250 yen for entrance to the garden.*
The more well-informed of you may notice we had our yukata done up the wrong way in most of the photos. The ladies who did tea ceremony with us stripped us down and re-dressed us so we were done up the right way. Keep in mind the fact that you don't wear much under a yukata....
*if I've got any of this info wrong, I apologise...I guess we can't all be perfect all of the time...
