I was arranging to head back to the Rock for a wedding in September, when I heard my cousin Charles and his fiancee Shirley were going to be in the island the week before... so I decided to go over early to spend some time with them.   

	We visited Mont Orgeuil castle (I hadn't been since the renovations  were complete)
Charles putting Shirley in the Pillory... (he looks much happier about it than she does!)
	A rather gruesome (and large) sculpture detailing all the  nasty things that could happen to you in medieval warfare
Charles with his Auntie Ruth (my mum) (no, there's nothing weird going on with the perspective here...)
	Shirley is thrown into the dungeons... (I'm detecting a theme here!)
