December 2006

December was a hectic month, as those of you who tried to contact us will be aware!

Both Tom's parents and mine came to visit at the beginning of the month. We braved the Christmas market in Bath, and went to the Messiah concert at Bath Abbey - which was fantastic. I also took my parents down to Wells for a bit of exploring, as well as going for a dip in the new Spa in Bath.

Tom and I got poshed-up for his work's Christmas party (a bit more up-market than my works do's...both of which were in pubs...no photos of those events, which is probably just as well!).

Mum came over for Christmas, and Christmas eve was spent driving up to Manchester and back (long story). Things brightened up for Christmas day...lunch turned out ok, and the rest of the day was lost to alcohol...and exploring the countryside!

Boxing Day was spent up in Belbroughton, and is also lost to alcohol at the famous Boxing Day Party. (Again, no photos - be thankful!)

I spent a few days between Christmas and New Year back on the rock, catching up with a few friends. Apologies if you were around and I didn't get in touch - it was a last minute trip, and I wasn't back very long.
