Royal International Air Tattoo

We spent a totally brilliant day at Fairford (luckily we went the day it didn't rain).  The static displays were really good, and the air displays were breathtaking!  This was my first experience of a real air display/tattoo (up until now, I've only seen the annual Battle of Britain display in Jersey, which is fantastic, but not as good as this!).  We arrived as the gates were opening and left as they were closing, and I reckon we could have spent twice as long there!

We were really lucky - the rain held off until the very end!  So we only got a bit muddy!

The show was really good, and I'd love to go back again next year... the fireworks were especially fantastic
