October was a very eventful month (as it is every year, with Mum, Dad and Tom celebrating their birthdays, not to mention Tom's and my anniversary).  Well, this year also had the extra celebration: Mum's retirement!! 

 

So, with a trip to France* and Jersey, plenty to eat and drink, this month just flew by in a haze of cake and booze.

 

*Some people think we're crazy, but really is was the most sensible route to Jersey from the UK...
