June and July... the start of the summer which never really happened. The rainy weather notwithstanding, we still got up to quite a lot! Thanks to Thales, we got a free trip to Longleat (in the rain), complete with a very nice BBQ (in the rain). We visited Belbroughton for Tom's mum's birthday (where it rained, and was followed by one of the most frightening drives back home I've ever had...due to the slightly inclement weather). Tom and I spent a weekend in the Cotswolds with Mum, where at least we had sunny intervals!
We did have an absolutely glorious day at Marham, for the RAF Marham Friends and Family day - where my colleagues and I just happened to be for a Very Important Meeting... and which partly made up for the fact Fairford was cancelled this year (can you tell I'm bitter?).
There was also a night out in Bristol, when it didn't actually rain either! Not to mention a BBQ at home, also in the sunshine!
